- Could depressed people fall in love?

By living through the heavy emotions, I've got addicted to the small good ones, some of them brought pleasure, happiness, and arousal, but could I feel the

love with such a routed pain inside?

For sure, I still love my mom, brother, and sisters, but could I meet someone and fall in love? Are there some recommended grieving periods?

If the person was an addict, the suggestion after rehabilitation is a plant, an animal, and 1 year (remark from the movie '28 days' 2000). In their case, any building of connections or sex could get them back to drugs, as solid emotions could disrupt peace and discipline/build their life back. Is it the same for depressed ones? Well, since depression is identified as a prolonged feeling of sadness and loss of interest, wouldn't love to be the solution?

Let's look at the society of no emotions in the movie 'Equals' (2015). The story of people who cannot express emotions is illegal, and there is a couple who fall in love. In this prospect of life, they struggle more because, in regular times - they are prohibited from interacting.

I laughed because the google search said no, and the description only said it's better not to fall in love with those depressed ones. But what if you are 'those'? What are suggestions and recommendations saying? - Are we the 'depressed one that needs to be ignored until we are healed?

Okay, then, remind me what the cure for depression, oh, pills, and people are. Those pills prevent us from feeling, so basically, pills for nerves and depression are condoms for falling in love.

The other part is that depressed people want to fall in love to escape their feelings. So, could the two depressed people fall in love and cure each other? I don't believe in that. I was living with my friend when both of us were depressed, and it's nice to talk and avoid talking about those conditions, but it's like rotten fruit on the table, it always stinks, and no one takes it away.

People struggle as a prolonged condition, so the small moments of happiness are cherished. Depressed people are melancholic and struggle, but giving them positive emotions - will cure us.

Attachments could be built with kindness and consideration. And yes, depressed people could fall in love; they need help overcoming depression to step out of this shadow.
